Samosa and Sweets Factory is a leader in the field of wholesale readymade supply of Samosas and sweets. This great Endeavour is a result of love and dedication to provide the best quality food to consumers.
How it all began:
It all started in 1980 when I migrated to Canada and was unable to find good food in Indian restaurants. Quality and standards were hugely lacking and the health aspect of the food was completely missing in the market.
At that point in time, I planned a deliberate trip to India to obtain authentic Indian recipes, some of which were secret family recipes handed down from generations. I spent time with my mother, learning the fine points of Indian cuisine, so that I could provide the touch of home-made dishes, while keeping the professional standards intact.
Upon my return to Canada I began refining my recipes and offered my food to friends and patrons .Encouraged by their feedback, recommendations and my own experience, I opened my first restaurant, Shan-E-Darbar in 1989 at Islington Avenue, Toronto. We used traditional Indian methods of cooking and continued to improvise based on the demand of our customers.
Beginning of the Samosa Factory:
The concept of bringing healthy, quality wholesale samosas and sweets in the market started well before the inception of the state of the art plant in 1989 at 1850 Albion Rd. The enterprising and innovative approach made us the emerging industry leaders.
We worked on various concepts of providing best quality samosas and sweets.
Our differentiators:
We provide most hygienically prepared items using automatic and semi-automatic machines. Our samosas are made of 0% transfat consistent oil. We are the only company making sugar free laddoos and gulabjamuns. Furthermore, we are in the process of introducing an entire range of sugar free mithais shortly. Our efforts to provide healthy Indian food to our customers while enjoying the home made goodness are an on-going process. Our mission is to be able to provide healthy, hygienic and sumptuous Indian food to every single store so a wide range of customers have the convenience to pick the best. |
